In 2021 Hip Hop offcially became the most popular genre worldwide.

Examining music through the lens of consumption, I set out to reveal linguistic signals, 100 days in a row.

The 100 day project originated by Michael Beirut and envisioned for the MPS Branding Program by Debbie Millman, challenges us to commit to discovery and development through a project spanning over one hundred days. Through pixel graphics and written analysis I explore how hip hop both impacts and reflects culture through etymology, wordplay, and analogies.

A visual system using the smallest units of graphics to- Pixels, to examine the building block of language- words.
Set to music frame by frame.
